hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, US, Anagnorisis sets out to bring you their latest full length album "beyond all light" which besides being a beast of an LP makes one thing clear. there are still bands out there pushing the boundaries of nowadays black metal.
combining their nearly symphonic blackened sludge with the pure hatred and sheer brutality of Swedish bands like dissection or dark funeral, Anagnorisis have fused together the best of European and US black metal.
also, what makes them stand out from the rest of the pack is they don't sport your average orthodox black metal attitude. Being DIY from day one and outspoken against discrimination Anagnorisis are everything you would expect from a modern intelligent extreme metal band.
